This was taken on Saturday at Doi Suthep which is the name of a mountain outside of Chiang Mai. It is part of the palace grounds on the very top. This house is Phra Tamnak Eucalyptus. It was built under the direction of the Queen to study the use of eucalyptus as a building material. You can't tell from the picture, but on the other side of the house is the edge of the mountain and a breathtaking view of Chiang Mai. |
